issue 31 - april 1997 E D I T O R I A Lemail: ltu96abw@reading.ac.uk It was interesting to witness a serious flame war flare up recently over the question of whether or not anyone really cares about Pravda or sister publication ElektroPravda. I was particularly gratified to find that there were people out there who claimed to believe that it was less of a waste of bandwidth than I'd imagined. So thanks for the compliments, everyone. This issue, we've got more meaningful poetry from house rhymester Pantheon Smythe, plus the fourth in our serious review of the Common Campus - a miniseries to end all miniserieses. Hopefully one miniseries which it should end is that of cyber-sage Nathaniel Wagstaffe, whose "Transcendental Kitchen" starts this issue.
So all in all a pretty useless and boring issue for you to read, remember, and enjoy. I'm off to scrape the asbestos off my cat's ears now.

Letters to the Editor
If you're using a Windows machine or even some other computer which is showing two black stripes in the background, your 'browser window` is far too wide. Use the mouse God gave you to drag the right-hand side of the window closer to the left so that the extra black line disappears and you'll be far better off.
